Bryan’s funeral will be held at Chelmsford Crematorium on Thursday 22nd February at 11.30 in the South Chapel, and all are welcome. Should you wish to join the family afterwards, the wake is being held at Chelmsford Hockey Club.

BRYAN HEELIS
As many of you may already know, stalwart Evergreen Bryan Heelis lost his battle with Motor Neurone Disease last Thursday. Bryan was 80 years of age and a former captain of The Evergreens. He has been a playing member of the club for over 50 years and has encouraged so many developing players in that time. He was a member of England LX and a great tourist .He will forever be remembered as a no nonsense defender, a gentle man in the true sense of the word and an inspiration to so many young and old
