All at Chelmsford Hockey Club were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden and unexpected passing of Evie Muir last week.

Until recently Evie played junior and senior hockey at Chelmsford since joining the club from Braintree with her mother, Emma Wooding.  The family’s connection with Chelmsford Hockey Club goes back many years with Emma’s sister, and former Great Britain and England international, Lisa, having played for the women’s 1st XI for several years while, more recently, Evie’s grandfather, Ken, has been a stalwart of our men’s Veterans XI.

Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with Emma, Ken, grandmother Carol, and the rest of Evie’s family and close friends.
