CHC Nearly New Sale Sunday 24 November 9.30-11

Seller Guidelines

Please read all of the following guidelines if you wish to sell goods at the sale. These have been put together to help ensure the sale runs smoothly.

What can I sell?

  • Chelmsford Hockey club branded
    • Green playing jersey
    • Skorts
    • Shorts
    • Tracksuit
    • Training Tops
    • Trousers
    • Junior Hoodie
  • Sticks bigger than 32”
  • Stick bags
  • Shin pads
  • Astro shoes
  • Hockey Balls
  • Kit bags

What can’t I sell?

  • Socks
  • Trainers
  • Hockey camp T-Shirts
  • Shin pad liners
  • Mouthguards
  • Gloves

Sticks 32” or less will be gratefully received by the club to help with junior recruitment in the minis section

The above list of items is not exhaustive. The organising committee have to reject any items put forward for sale if they do not meet the required criteria.

All items brought to the sale must be:

  • Clean.
  • Good quality
  • Safe, Fit for purpose with no damage, sharp edges or tears and as described.

 

How do I label my items?

 Click Hockey Nearly New labels for labels that can be printed out to attach to your items

Your labels should:

  • Printed greater than 4cm by 2.5cm
  • Name and contact no.
  • Intended age & size
  • Price in multiples of £1 ONLY
  • Secure items with masking tape or safety pins
  • NO SELLOTAPE, PINS OR STICKY LABELS PLEASE

 

When can I drop off my items?

Please drop items off with Sally Dalton, one of the under 10s boys coaches on a Sunday morning, or pass it to your child’s junior manager to pass on. Alternatively bring it along before 9am on the morning of 24th

When can I collect my money from sales and unsold items?

The club will take 25% commission on each item sold. Depending on how popular this event is, we may be able to return monies and unsold items at the end of the sale, otherwise it will be at the next training session. Any unwanted or uncollected items will be disposed of by the club at the committees discretion.
