Covid-19 Update

David KitchinerNews

Following our announcement on 16th March of the suspension of all Chelmsford HC activities, both on and off the pitch, until at least 15th April due to the social restrictions caused by Covid-19, the CHC Management Committee has decided to follow the lead of England Hockey, our governing body, in extending the suspension of activities until at least 30th June.

We recognise that this will come as a huge disappointment to many, particularly those wishing to participate in senior and junior summer hockey, but the health and wellbeing of those in our hockey community, as well as the wider community, is our overriding concern.

For full details of the England Hockey statement and details of how the various competitions and leagues may be impacted please see the links below.

Finally, we encourage all members, families and friends to heed official advice concerning this virus outbreak.  Stay safe and, hopefully, we can all look forward to a resumption of hockey activities before the start of the 2020/21 season.
