adminMatch Reports

A deserved win for Chelmsford in our second game of 2017 with a 7-0 win against Havering. A strong contribution from all players in the side gave the opportunity to put pressure on from pushback, forcing an error in front of the Havering goal early on, allowing Scot Reilley to swiftly convert his first goal of the half. Chelmsford defence were able to see off Havering counter attack and provided support for midfield. This generated further chances with Scot converting a further 2 during the half.

Playing the ball wide paid dividends in the second half and we had several short corner opportunities. Chelmsford had to defend a couple of breaks midway through the half but maintained possession and the teams scoring form continued, converting further chances. Scot scoring 3 in the half with the final goal coming from Ricky Lee from the top of the D in the last few minutes of the match.

A good team performance by all! Our next fixture is against Colchester 4 XI at home.
