The 5th XI got back to winning ways with an emphatic 9-2 victory against Saffron Walden 6th XI.

Scot Reilley rediscovered the goal scoring habit early in the game and soon put Chelmsford 2-0 ahead. We went in at half-time 2-1 up following a couple of excellent saves from Mark Clark in goal to keep out the Walden forwards.

Dan Bacon joined the scorers with a fine goal at the start of the second half and then produced a second to extend the lead to 4-1. Scot the completed a double hat trick before setting up Cameron Clark who scored with ease to give the 5’s a fine 9-2 win.
