The 5th XI enjoyed a well deserved 5-1 victory over Old Loughtonians Academy. A good all round performance kept the Academy defence under pressure from early on in the game and goals soon came.

Scot Reilly opened the scoring and this was followed by a fine goal from David Farmer from 2 metres out. A second from Scot with one in response from Old Loughtonians meant we went in at half time 3-1 ahead.

More fluent hockey followed the interval and Scot Reilly completed his hat trick before a fine flowing move was completed by Ben Middleton to seal a 5-1 win.
