The ladies 3’s played a cracking game against Braintree with a 4-0 win. Chelmsford took an early lead with the first goal being struck in the back of the net by Henney Murray. Accurate and fast passing resulted in a second goal from Kiera Hornsby with a quick flick round the keeper, resulting win a 2-0 lead at half time. After some wise words from Paul, our gameplay improved significantly. With some great saves from Jenai and some excellent defending from Lily, Connie and Sophie at the back, Braintree were unable to score. Great gameplay from Sally and Caitlin in midfield resulted in a third goal from Abi Michelow after receiving a great cross from the right. With minutes to spare Chelmsford concentrated and were able to maintain possession, resulting in the fourth goal, fantastically finished by Henney. Once again leading to a 4-0 victory; gaining us valuable points and an overall excellent performance.
