There are still a number of important roles unfilled for this season.  It is now critically urgent that these positions are filled without further delay.  Brief details below:

Umpire Liaison Officer – acting as single point of contact between CHC umpires and external organisations – leagues, clubs, umpire associations, England Hockey.  No hockey or umpiring knowledge necessary.  Plan the work around your other activities.

Club Umpire Secretary – responsible for appointing CHC umpires to club fixtures each week.  Some knowledge of club umpires and local club hockey would be advantageous.  Plan the work around your other activities.

500 Club – an important fundraiser!  Advertise and market this monthly draw, check subscriptions against bank statements, undertake monthly draw, arrange for prize winners to be notified and to receive their cash prizes.  No hockey knowledge necessary.  Plan the work around your other activities.

Sports Club Representative – attend and participate in Chelmsford Sports Club committee meetings every couple of months to ensure the smooth-running of the club, represent the hockey club interests at those meetings, report back to the CHC management committee each month, sit on the CHC management committee.  Some prior knowledge of club affairs would be advantageous.
