Further to our recent announcement about the sad death of Roger Gaffney, we have heard from Roger’s family that the funeral will be a private affair for immediate family only.

While the family are still coming to terms with Roger’s death they have suggested that, perhaps in the future, they will hold some sort of gathering in his memory.  in the meantime, they have requested that when we get together as a group of friends at the Old Chelmsfordians or Chelmsford Hockey Club, we remember him, talk about him and raise a glass in his name.
