We are greatly saddened to announce the death of our long-standing match day caterer, June McLean.

June took over the provision of our post-match meals in 2014 and has, for well over a decade, catered for thousands of hockey players from far and wide. She also kept an eye on the clubhouse during quiet times of the day, ensuring uninvited guests were quickly, and politely, shown the door.

The thoughts of all at Chelmsford Hockey Club are with June’s family at this difficult time.
