We join with our cricket club friends in expressing our sadness at the passing of Gill Hickman.

Gill had been a playing member of Chelmsford Hockey Club for over 45 years, most recently playing in goal in our ladies’ teams. Along with playing, Gill was a Vice President and contributed to every area of the club and its running, including many years as the Sports Club secretary.

She was a valued and committed member of our club and local community and had many friendships across the club spanning decades.
