Great Britain’s men’s and women’s respective Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will be televised on “free to air” channels this month!

England Hockey have worked really hard with the BBC since the Commonwealth Games to persuade them to televise hockey on free to air channels (yes, it’s red button, but it is still free).  The BBC argument is that when televised historically, hockey didn’t get the 50K threshold of viewers that it has a baseline for televising specific sports.  It would be greatto smash that number and show that hockey players are also watchers.  Please spread the message and see if we can get eyeballs on the games.  Women’s tournament is 13 – 21 Jan in Valencia, men’s is 15 – 21 Jan in Oman.
