Alan played for the club from circa 1952 through to about 1968, captaining the 2nd XI and 3rd XI for several years, and sitting on the club management committee for most of his time at the club.  Two of Alan’s three sons, Simon and Tim, were also active playing members in the 1970s and 1980s.

Chelmsford HC members, past and present, are invited to attend Alan’s funeral service at 10:30am on Friday, 9th December at Chelmsford Crematorium.
