Result: Lost 0-4

A trip to the Mile End Stadium for the 5th XI resulted in a 4-0 defeat to East London 6’s. The Chelmsford team showed great determination against a strong and talented opposition.

2-0 down inside the first 10 minutes the 5’s replied in a well organised fashion and under constant pressure from East London the defence held firm.

The home team extended their lead in the second half with 2 well taken field goals. The 5th XI never wilted and were unlucky not to score when they produced several flowing attacking moves toward the end of the game.
