The 5th XI came upon a strong, fit East London 7’s in their game at Mile End.

Despite going 2-0 down on the first 10 minutes the team put together an excellent passage of play to pull back to 2-2 thanks to goals from Scot Reilly and Ben Middleton.

East London then regained lead only for Chelmsford to again draw level following an excellent goal by Scot Reilly and went in at half time at 3-3.

In the second half despite a great effort and some good hockey East London proved too strong and won the match 7-3.
